Dividers and Doors

In just a few short days, we’ll be moving into Worldwide Headquarters. For the most part, construction will be complete. There are a few fixes and additions here and there, but nothing major. Hallelujah!

After being stuck waiting to get through the inspection process, I’m pleased to say we have our occupancy permit. We spent the week finalizing things, moving in furniture, connecting the phones/internet and building a one-of-a-kind conference table and making/installing custom desk dividers.

Here’s a glimpse at the dividers in the making…

Cut some MDF:

Add a pile of cork tiles:

Throw on some wood glue:

Cut and apply some U-channel:

Mount them to the desks and BAM!

Corkboard desk dividers!

Now of course, it took a heck of a lot longer to make these than it did to read about them. Talk about sweat equity…

There’s much more to see, but for that, you’ll need to show up Monday morning. Have a great 4th!
